Lee De’ath is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner based in Colchester with over 30 years of experience. He works with directors across all insolvency procedures, including administration, Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs), and both Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation (CVL) and Members’ Voluntary Liquidation (MVL), whilst specialising in corporate insolvency and restructuring.
Lee regularly supports SMEs and owner-managed businesses requiring guidance on formal and informal assignments, with extensive experience in investigations and strategies to maximise stakeholder returns. He advises directors and creditors, providing clear, practical guidance tailored to each company’s circumstances.

He is a committee member of R3 (The Association of Business Recovery Professionals) for the East and a former member of ICAEW’s insolvency and rescue committee.
Before his current role, Lee was a partner at an independent insolvency, restructuring and forensic accounting firm, building comprehensive expertise across corporate insolvency, investigations and business restructuring.
