Dave Broadbent is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner based in York with over 25 years of experience. He works with directors across all insolvency procedures, including administration, Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs), and both Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation (CVL) and Members’ Voluntary Liquidation (MVL), whilst specialising in SME insolvency.
Dave regularly assists owner-managed businesses, limited company directors and self-employed professionals, including charitable organisations and franchisees. He provides clear, practical guidance tailored to each company’s circumstances, with extensive experience supporting SMEs through challenging financial situations.
Whether you need urgent support during a crisis or advice on restructuring options, Dave provides professional guidance to help directors understand their options and next steps. He regularly delivers insolvency and restructuring seminars to accountants, solicitors and professional networks across Yorkshire and the North East, and is Chair of R3 (The Association of Business Recovery Professionals) in Yorkshire.
Before his current role, Dave founded his own business recovery practice, building comprehensive expertise in SME insolvency and supporting owner-managed businesses.
