Kris Wigfield is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner based in Sheffield with over 17 years of experience. He works with directors across all insolvency procedures, including administration, Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs), and both Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation (CVL) and Members’ Voluntary Liquidation (MVL), whilst specialising in restructuring, corporate insolvency and financial advisory.
Kris regularly handles high-profile cases involving complex stakeholder environments and distressed businesses requiring rapid stabilisation. His extensive experience in contentious insolvency, business turnaround and refinancing provides expert guidance in cases with commercial or reputational sensitivities.

Before his current role, Kris acted as associate director at a licensed insolvency practice and founded his own insolvency and business rescue firm, building comprehensive expertise in restructuring and complex insolvency matters. He is a Chartered Accountant.
