David Birne is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner based in London with over 30 years of experience. He works with directors across all insolvency procedures, including administration, Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs), and both Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation (CVL) and Members’ Voluntary Liquidation (MVL), whilst specialising in corporate insolvency and business restructuring.
David regularly supports businesses of all sizes, from large complex multi-national companies to small owner-managed businesses, providing clear guidance on formal appointments and business recovery strategies. He also advises lenders and creditors on restructuring matters, bringing extensive experience to challenging financial situations.

Before his current role, David gained partner-level experience at a business advisory, restructuring and insolvency practice, building comprehensive expertise across both corporate and personal insolvency matters. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
